Service Terms & Conditions

Portugal Greatest Tours (hereinafter also referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”) is a registered trademark owned by Pleasure2invite – Unipessoal Lda., a company registered at the RNAAT – “Registo Nacional de Agentes e Animadores Turísticos” of “Turismo de Portugal IP”, with the license number 1690/2019, that organizes tours for Group and Private customers (customer hereinafter also referred to as “you” and “your”). 

By clicking to indicate your acceptance of these Service Terms & Conditions (hereinafter also referred to as “Terms”) or otherwise using the tours/services or content made available through the website www.portugalgreatesttours.com (hereinafter also referred to as “site”), or booking tours/services through email, you will be legally accepting these Terms and All Terms incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy, and that they can be changed or posted on our website at any time, and that they are valid for all tours/services and that they are the ONLY conditions to be applied. If you are accessing or using our tours/services on behalf of another person (such as booking a tour for multiple people or groups), you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms and All Therms on that person or group’s behalf.  If you do not agree to these Terms and All Terms you should not access or use the tours/services. 

We may change these Terms and All Terms from time to time, without notice, and in our sole discretion. If we make changes, we will let you know by revising the date at the bottom of the Terms. Any changes we make to these Terms and All Terms will be effective when we post them. If you use the tours/services after we have posted the changed Terms, then you have accepted the changes to these Terms and All Terms.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Portugal Greatest Tours provides Private and Small Group tours according to a scheduled program and Private Customised tours prepared upon customer quotation request.  Each tour has a description with all relevant items. All our tours are subject to availability and will only happen with a minimum number of people. We reserve the right to define for each tour the minimum and maximum number of people. If the number of people is insufficient, we reserve the right to cancel the tour; if there is overbooking, we reserve the right to cancel some bookings, refunding the customer with the money already paid, or facilitating the change to another available tour. In this case, the customer will be informed of the cancellation, in writing, shortly after.

As a rule, our tours are made with a driver and a guide for a most dedicated service and for safety reasons. Nonetheless, for specific situations assessed by us, the tour may be done with one driver/guide only.  

The contents presented in our website are for people over 18 years old only, who can be illegible to purchase the tours/services presented on our website.

Our tours are not adequate to children under 12 years old due to the nature of our itineraries. Nonetheless, should you prefer to bring your children for a private exclusive tour, please feel free to contact us and we will come up with a proposal.

Safety: You must observe and follow the schedules set by Portugal Greatest Tours and respect all the safety and behaviour instructions.

We reserve the right to refuse transportation to customers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs that might endanger the driver, the guide, the other passengers and the vehicle. We may, at our discretion, also require any person to withdraw from any tour, if we deem his/her acts or conduct offensive, or a nuisance to other passengers, and Portugal Greatest Tours shall have no further liability.

Personal information: You are required to provide the necessary information about yourself to Portugal Greatest Tours for the ONLY purpose to make reservations and comply with Portuguese legal requirements. You must also provide additional information about any physical limitations, food allergies (ONLY in the case of included meals in the tours) or any other important information to ensure the quality of the tour and assess/confirm its adequacy to your needs. You are required to have with you your personal information such as passport, ID card or driver’s license. (Please read our Privacy Policy).

You must also provide us with an effective way of being contacted. A local phone number is preferred.  Occasionally, unplanned changes to a scheduled tour must be made (for example in the event of a strike, extreme weather conditions, traffic problems, or other factors which cause the places to be closed or inaccessible). In this case it will be our concern and responsibility to advise you of the change as soon as possible by email or through a local phone number, and make new arrangements, or to cancel the tour.  If you do not provide us with a means to contact you within a short time before the tour, we cannot be held responsible for not informing you of last-minute changes.

Itinerary: We reserve the right to change or adjust our itineraries at any time and at our discretion. Nonetheless, we will do everything possible to respect the itinerary agreed with you, but we are not liable for any change or cancellation imposed by unpredictable situations, beyond our exclusive control such as, but not limited to, traffic delays, road works, demonstrations, public events, police operations, strikes, hostilities, weather conditions, vehicle problems, monument queues or closure, or any other. If this happens, we will substitute it with alternative itineraries of comparable monetary value, if possible. Every endeavour will be made to advise you in advance of any alterations that are deemed necessary and to minimize any inconvenience to you.  Uncompleted parts of the tour itinerary are not cause for refund. 

Duration: The program tour specifies the duration of it. However, should you require more time for a visit and this impacts on the costs for us, you will have to pay the extra costs.

The tours schedule as well as the starting time can be changed a few days before the tours if external conditions affect the tours, such as weather conditions or road works, among others.

Pick-up / drop-off:  Pick-up and drop-off for private tours and private customised tours will take place at a location of your preference as long as there is accessible place to stop.

Pick-up and drop-off for small group tours will take place at a place mentioned in each tour, with the purpose to avoid traffic delays to get out of the city.  Nonetheless, participants in a small group tour can be picked up at a chosen location, provided previous arrangements have been made and extra cost has been paid.  (Please see our Pricing policy).

Dates of the tour and pick-up times are subject to change or cancellation, should unforeseen circumstances occur.

Portugal Greatest Tours is not liable for reduced tours due to delays by the customer. Therefore, you are responsible to be on time at the agreed meeting point. Should you fail to arrive or arrive late at the designated starting point or during the tour, the tour will not be delayed in order to wait for you and then no liability can be accepted by Portugal Greatest Tours.

Language: The tours are basically in English and Portuguese. French is possible as well. 

Please be aware that for small group tours there may be more than one language spoken during the tour, but we will try to restrict it to two if possible.

Flights and Maritime transportationOur tours do NOT include flights or maritime transportation, so your flight/maritime transportation arrangements, if needed, are completely up to you and we are not liable for any situation such as, but not limited to, accidents, incidents, delays, cancellations, lost or damaged luggage, deriving or occurring previously, during and after your flight or maritime transportation. 

Special needs or requirements: At Portugal Greatest Tours we do our best to give all our customers full care and attention, but we do need to know at the time of booking if there are any special needs or requirements. It is particularly important that we are advised of any disabilities and if you intend to bring any special equipment such as a wheelchair with you. If you have a medical condition, please check with us so we can confirm if your participation in the tour is possible.

Account: You are responsible for the security of your user account and any activity performed under your user account, whether or not such actions were authorised by you. You accept all risks of unauthorised access to your user account. Portugal Greatest Tours is not responsible for any unauthorised access to your user account, or other loss or dissemination of your signup data.  If you suspect any security breaches related to your user account, please notify us by contacting discover@portugalgreatesttours.com

PRICING

Prices shown on Portugal Greatest Tours website are per person unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change without notice, at any time, due to the unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to, unpredictability of currency rates and suppliers’ costs.  However, the price for the tour you have selected will be locked and guaranteed the moment your full payment is received.

What is included is stated specifically in each tour page. 

Our tour prices do NOT include airfare or maritime transportation costs.

All prices are shown in EURO (except where otherwise noted) and include VAT at legal tax.

Promotional prices are available online for limited time. When availability is limited, promotional prices are disabled, and regular prices activated.

For big groups, special group tariffs may be available upon request. Same applies to private customised tours. Please send your requests to discover@portugalgreatesttours.com

Pick-up and drop-off at any specific location in Lisbon different from what is mentioned in the tour page, have an extra cost of 15€ per booking for small group tours.   Any other location outside Lisbon, please contact us for information.

Special prices for children older than 12 years old depend always on the ticket rates given by our suppliers.  If reduced rates apply, they can be seen on the tour page.

Specific vehicle equipment required for disabled people will be subject to additional costs for the customer.

BOOKING

All bookings will be made through our website form at www.portugalgreatesttours.com or via email discover@portugalgreatesttours.com.  By booking a tour with Portugal Greatest Tours you are agreeing to All Terms and to Privacy Policy. So, please read these documents carefully before you complete your booking or enquiry.

For the booking to be considered valid the customer must pay via PayPal or Bank transfer:

  • For Multi-day tours, 30% of the total cost. The remaining 70% will be paid same way, no later than 60 days before the start of the tour. If the customer has not paid the remaining part in due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice and charge the cancellation costs.
  • For Full-day tours, 100% of the total cost, no later than 5 days before the tour starting date.
  • For Half-day tours, 100% of the total cost, no later than 72 hours before the tour starting time.
  • Bookings for multi-day tours made less than 60 days prior to the starting date, need to be 100% paid.

Once the availability for the tour is confirmed, an email will be sent to the customer with the payment details. Missing the payment(s) deadline may result in your booking being cancelled. Bookings will be confirmed ONLY after we receive proof of full payment, and when an invoice or booking order is sent by email to the customer (except where otherwise mentioned in writing).  Until then it will be in a pre-booking state that ends when the tour gets fully booked. A copy of the confirmation email, invoice or booking order must be shown to the guide doing the tour when it takes place.

We reserve the right to sell any seats without a confirmed full payment.

Portugal Greatest Tours declines any responsibility if it is not possible to accept bookings for the customer’s chosen date.

We will not be responsible for any lack or invalid identification/visa/passport document of the client that makes it impossible for him/her to make the tour and, therefore, there will be no refund in these cases.

In case of a booking for two or more people, the customer doing the purchase will be responsible for it and will act as an intermediary between us and the other people included in the booking, accepting All Terms and the Privacy Policy on behalf of the other members of the booking.

We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation email does not arrive, please send us an email to discover@portugalgreatesttours.com and ask us to resend the email confirmation of the tour you have paid.

PAYMENT

Payments can be made via PayPal or Bank transfer. Please note that commission fees will not be applied (except if otherwise mentioned in writing).

Only a valid payment method may be used to purchase our tours through the site and all refunds will be credited the same payment method (please read our Refund policy). By submitting a booking through the website or by email, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the designated payment method and authorise us, our third-party payment processor, to charge that payment method for the purchase amount of your booking. When you provide your payment information, you authorise us, or our third-party payment processor, to process and store your payment and other related information. If the payment method you designated cannot be verified, is invalid or is not otherwise acceptable, we may suspend or cancel your booking automatically. You are responsible for resolving any problem we encounter to proceed with your booking.

DELAYS AND AMMENDMENTS

If you have lost the meeting point directions or are late, please contact us by PHONE at the earliest convenience using the contact number you can see on the website Contacts page, on the invoice, booking order or on the confirmation email.

Whenever there are sufficient reasons, we may change the order of the tour’s itinerary or services provided, like hours of departure or replace any hotel initially planned by others of similar category.

All alterations requested by a customer after booking a tour require the previous acceptance by Portugal Greatest Tours.  We will try to do the best to accept the suggested changes, but it will always depend on  the availability of guides, vehicles, or any other aspects which we do not control such as the service suppliers.  We are not obliged to accept these changes after the booking has been done. If after payment, you decide to change anything in the tour schedule, should the change be possible, it will be your responsibility any additional payment, including an administrative fee of 20€ per person and per booking.

CANCELLATION

Portugal Greatest Tours is entitled to the right to cancel and discontinue any tours with or without notice, even if the customer has already made a booking (please read our Refund policy).

The cancellation policy applies to all tours, unless stated otherwise in each tour description. All customer cancellation requests must be sent by email to discover@portugalgreatesttours.com  to be considered valid for review. The refundable amount will depend on the date the cancellation request is received by Portugal Greatest Tours, unless mentioned otherwise in the tour description. Last minute cancellation is non-refundable.

In ALL cancellations made by the customer, Portugal Greatest Tours has the right to charge the customer with the payment of administrative costs and financial transaction expenses (25€) which will be automatically deducted to any payable refund amount.   If any costs related to bookings made by Portugal Greatest Tours for the tour are required by the suppliers due to a customer cancellation, such as, but not limited to, tour fees, guide’s accommodations, vehicle hire, entrance fees, hotel accommodation, transportation, these costs will have to be paid in full by the customer. Customer accepts that these cancellation costs will be deducted to the refund payable amount.

Half-a-day tours: Customer cancellation request received up to 48 hours before the starting time of the tour, a full refund of the paid amount will be provided.  If the customer cancellation is received less than 48 hours before the starting time of the tour, 50% of the paid amount will be retained. If the customer cancellation is received less than 24 hours before the starting time of the tour it is considered “no show” and therefore the paid amount is non-refundable.

Full day tours: Customer cancellation request received up to 5 days prior to the tour starts, a full refund of the paid amount will be provided. If the customer cancellation is received less than 5 days before the tour starts, 50% of the paid amount will be retained. If customer cancellation is received less than 48 hours before the tour starts, the paid amount is non-refundable.

Multi-day tour: Customer cancellations received up to 60 days before the tour starts, a full refund of the paid amount will be provided. If the customer cancellation is received less than 60 days before the  tour starts, 50% of the paid amount will be retained. If customer cancellation is received less than 30 days before the tours starts, the paid amount is non-refundable. If a tour is booked less than 60 days before its departure date, the entire tour cost becomes non-refundable after 14 days, but may be creditable for a future tour in the event of a proven medical or family emergency.

The initial customer booking deposit is 100% refundable for 30 days from the date it was received by us, unless noted otherwise. Once your deposit refund date has passed, your deposit will not be refunded under any circumstance.

REFUND

If a tour is booked but not possible to be performed by Portugal Greatest Tours (overbooking or minimum persons not met), we will always present an alternative. In case the customer does not want or not have the possibility to take another tour and/or in another date, customer will get 100% refund.

For technical/operational causes, situations due to unforeseen circumstances that prevent the full or partial achievement of the tour program, Portugal Greatest Tours may advertise crucial adjustments such as, but not limited to, changing itineraries, dates, times, services, among others and not being obliged to refund the amounts paid.

All third-party suppliers that provide a service/product to our tour, will be refundable ONLY if those suppliers accept to refund as we will be also subject to the terms and conditions of the service supplier (please read Cancellation Policy above). Theater tickets, rail trips, overnight tours, attraction tickets, cruises, wine tours, monument tickets, hotel accommodation and others may not be amended or cancelled once booked. Customer accepts that these non-refundable amounts may be deducted from the total refund. No refund is due to equipment (transportation vehicle) breakdown or mechanical failure.

 Refunds will only be made using the same payment method as used when making the initial booking. Any third-party fees applied to the customer’s payment by Banks, or PayPal are not refundable. These fees include, but are not limited to processing fees, foreign exchange rate fees, charge back fees, and refund processing fees.

In all situations, any existing expenses with the refund will be supported by the customer who accepts its deduction to the total refund payable amount.

Once your deposit or full payment refund date has passed, or in case of a “no show” or a last-minute cancellation, your deposit or full payment will not be refunded under any circumstance. No refund will be done in case of missing the tour due to customer delay.

We cannot grant any refunds claimed more than 10 days after completion of the tour. Once the refund request is approved, we will endeavour to process any refunds within 5-10 working days.

VEHICLE POLICY

For safety reasons, passengers are reminded they should remain seated with their seatbelt fastened while the vehicle is in motion. You understand that to stand can be hazardous due to sudden stops, braking or uneven road surfaces that can cause you to injure yourself and/or others around you. 

Smoking, food and beverages (except water) are NOT allowed inside the vehicles. Frequent stops for sightseeing are made and you will have the opportunity to drink or eat.

Portugal is known to be a safe country. However, we recommend you carry all your belongings with you when outside the vehicle. Any items left in the vehicle or in any other places visited during the tour, are left at the owner’s risk. Portugal Greatest Tours will take NO responsibility for loss or damage to any of your belongings.

We will be under no obligation or liability for delays occurring from city traffic or any other situation that Portugal Greatest Tours cannot control.

INSURANCES & LIABILITY WAIVER

Our tours are covered by two legally required insurances and minimum capital guarantees, in accordance with the Portuguese law (Law-Decree 108/2009, May 15, altered by the Law-Decree 95/2013, July 19):  Liability and Personal Accidents Insurances.

Despite all tours being covered by these two mandatory insurances, by booking a tour the customer acknowledges that all travels involve some risks, that he/she will voluntarily participate in the tour and accepts possible risks such as, but not limited to, transportation failure, accidents or illness, damaged, stolen or lost property, criminal activity and negligence in the conduct or arrangement of this trip, and releases and discharges Portugal Greatest Tours and its owners, managers, drivers and guides from and against any and all liability from their participation in the tour.

Portugal Greatest Tours would STRONGLY recommend that you purchase a comprehensive Travel Insurance prior to joining our tours to cover All risks, including missed reservations.

Customer accepts that Portugal Greatest Tours has no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our driver and guide negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the tour cost paid by the customer. We do not own or manage the trains, boats, vehicles, transportation, visited places, accommodation and restaurants used during the tours and customer accepts that Portugal Greatest Tours has no liability for loss or damage caused by the proprietors or operators thereof.

Customer accepts that any accident, incident, illness, injury, disability or even death endured during a particular service operated by a supplier whose services or facilities/goods are included in Portugal Greatest Tours tour, is of the total responsibility of the supplier(s) who provide the service or facilities/goods and never of Portugal Greatest Tours, being just an intermediary between the provider and the customer. 

The customer assumes all risks associated with the tour and agrees that this release shall be legally binding upon him/her personally, all members of his/her family or friends or group and all the minors travelling with him/her, heirs, successors, assigns and legal representatives.

Under no circumstances will Portugal Greatest Tours be liable to the customer for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, injuries, disabilities, death, or other damages, pecuniary and non-pecuniary.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Customers are STRONGLY recommended to purchase an insurance that covers medical care during the tour covering all expenses with medical treatment, hospital care and repatriation in case of injury, accident, or illness.

Portugal Greatest Tours will not be responsible for any medical treatment, hospital healthcare or repatriation that the customer may need during the tour, although caring for him/her interest. We will refer the customer to a healthcare professional, should the situation require, and his/her costs will be fully paid by the customer.

All customers ensure that they are medically fit to travel, and they are liable for any situation that may suffer during the tour.

Portugal Greatest Tours has the right to refuse a customer to participate in the tour if he/she had not informed us of any disability or illness that requires any specific assistance or which situation may be seen as a risk to himself/herself or to others.

DISCLAIMERS

The services and any content included on or otherwise made available to the customer through the tours (including third party materials/services/activities) are provided to the customer on an as-is basis without any representations or warranties of any kind. Portugal Greatest Tours disclaims any and all other warranties and representations (express or implied, oral or written) with respect to the services and content included on or otherwise made available to the customer through the tours (including third party materials/services/activities) whether alleged to arise by operation of law, by reason of custom or usage in the trade, by course of dealing or otherwise.

Portugal Greatest Tours and its owners,managers, guides and drivers, in making arrangements for hotels, tours, transportation or any service in connection with the tours booked by customers, shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, death, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours.

Furthermore, Portugal Greatest Tours and its owners, managers, guides and drivers accept NO responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and/or terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control.

The customer assumes full responsibility for the choices he/she makes before, during and after his/her participation in any of the tours.

If accompanied by a minor, the customer is solely responsible for supervising the minor throughout the tour period and agrees to release and exempt Portugal Greatest Tours from all obligations and liabilities in any way arising out of any illness, disability, death, loss or injury to the minor, during the entire period of the tour or in any way related to the tour, including the activities provided by a third-party (supplier).

The previous disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted by the Portuguese law ONLY. You may have other legal rights. However, the duration of the legally required guarantees, if any, shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by the Portuguese law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Portuguese law: (A) In no event will Portugal Greatest Tours be liable to the customer or any third party for any special, indirect, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services or any other service and content included on or otherwise made available to the customer through the services (including third party materials/services/activities), regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, by statute or otherwise, even if Portugal Greatest Tours has been advised of the possibility of these damages or is aware of the possibility of these damages;  and (B) the aggregate liability of Portugal Greatest Tours, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including as a result of Portugal Greatest Tours’ alleged negligence), product liability, strict liability or other theory, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of or inability to use the services may not exceed any compensation the customer pays, if any, to Portugal Greatest Tours for access to or use of the tours.

As a customer, you are responsible for leaving the equipment or facilities (including any private or public property) in the same state as you found it when you started the tour. You are responsible for your own acts and omissions, as well as for the acts and omissions of any person, including a minor, who accompanies you in the tour.

As a customer, you have the duty to follow the instructions, directions, and orders of the guide/driver, with regard to vehicle safety issues, to establishments, monuments, walking paths and attractions rules.

We will not be liable for any damage caused by the customer that does not comply with the safety instructions provided. The customer is responsible for any damage done to third parties, as a result of his/her non-compliance with the instructions provided.

If a third-party furnishes proof that you have damaged equipment or any private or public property or otherwise during the tour, the third-party may attempt to obtain compensation from you through legal mechanisms at its disposal. 

Portugal Greatest Tours reserves the right to charge the customer, and he/she accepts, to payment, as well as to use other measures available to Portugal Greatest Tours in this context, in situations where the customer is liable for a damage claim including, without limitation, limitations in relation to any request for collection by the third-party.

RELEASE

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Portuguese law ONLY, the customer releases Portugal Greatest Tours from responsibility, liability, claims, demands, and/or damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown (including, but not limited to, claims of negligence), arising out of or related to disputes between customers and the acts or omissions of third parties. The customer expressly waives any rights he/she may have under any legal Code as well as any other statute or common law principles that would otherwise limit the coverage of this release to include only those claims which the customer may know or suspect to exist in his/her favour at the time of agreeing to this release.

INDEMNIFICATION

The customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Portugal Greatest Tours, its owners, managers, drivers and guides, from and against any actual or threatened suits, actions, proceedings (at law or in equity), claims, damages, payments, deficiencies, fines, judgments, settlements, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, penalties, interest, and disbursements) arising from or related to any conduct with respect to the customer’s use of the services, or to the customer’s violation (or alleged violation) of these Terms or the customer’s violation of the rights of any third party.

COMPLAINTS

Portugal Greatest Tours wants you to enjoy your experience with us. Sometimes however things may not go according to plan and if you feel that we have not lived up to your expectations, or that we could improve our services in some way, please report it, as quickly as possible, to your guide/driver or let us know by email discover@portugalgreatesttours.com and we will respond to you within 15 working days. 

We only accept complaints that have been communicated, in any possible way, during the tour to the guide/driver and to the supplier.

If the complaint is not solved by the guide/driver and supplier, it can be reported to Portugal Greatest Tours in writing (email), no later than 30 days after the completion of the service. We do not accept complaints due to circumstances beyond our exclusive control such as, but not limited to, delays due to weather conditions, traffic jams, road works and accidents, mechanical breakdowns, delays caused by other customers, police operations, monument queues or closure, strikes, hostilities, as well as to forget any personal document, necessary or not, for the realization of the tour, or any objects left in the vehicle or places visited. All complaints received and substantiated will be replied within 15 working days after notification. All disputes shall be resolved according to Portuguese law in the District Court of Lisbon, expressly waiving any other.

GOVERNING LAW

These Service Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without resort to its conflict of law provisions. The customer agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms will be filed only in Portugal courts, and the customer hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consents and submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts over any suit, action or proceeding arising out of these Terms.

GENERAL

Enforcement of these Terms is solely at Portugal Greatest Tours’ discretion. Failure to enforce any part of these Terms in some instances does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce the same or other part of these Terms in other instances. During your tour, the tour guide/driver may take some photos and films of you (as part of the group) while you are a passenger/customer and they may be used in our brochures or social media pages to promote our tours.

OTHER INFO

Please protect the environment by not throwing anything out of the vehicle or to the floor during tours. During nature walking tours, please do not get off the trail and do not pick up flowers or disturb animals.
