Portugal Greatest Tours makes all the efforts to PROTECT OUR CUSTOMERS and OURSELVES against the Coronavirus.  Therefore  we strictly follow the safety protocol.

Portugal Greatest Tours makes all the efforts to work together only with suppliers and partners that are also in compliance with the hygiene and cleaning requirements of the (DGS) General Directorate of Portuguese Health to ensure a safe visit, transportation, or accommodation.

Both the guide and the driver received information and/or training on how to comply with the prevention process for the Covid-19:

• Masks are mandatory inside the vehicles, the restaurants, the museums and in any other closed space.
• Hand hygiene: wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. This is even more recommended after using the bathroom, touching any surface or before and after any meal or snack. As an alternative you can use hand sanitizer that has at least 70º of alcohol, covering all surfaces of the hands and rubbing them until they are dry.
• Practice respiratory etiquette. When you need to sneeze or cough, cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or use a tissue paper which should then be thrown away immediately. Always wash/sanitize your hands after coughing or sneezing.
• Maintain social distance. Try to have 2 meters of distance whenever possible and avoid kissing, hugging or handshaking anytime and anywhere along the tour.
• Dispensers with alcohol (70%) disinfectant will be available for each customer’s use, whenever justified, during the whole tour.
• Before the tour starts, both the guide and driver will have temperature control measured and registered. In case of doubt, customers may also be asked permission for temperature control. The access to the vehicle will be denied to anyone with fever and/or who presents any symptoms of illness.
• Our driver and guide will be properly protected with certified masks or visors, and hand sanitizers
• In case of multi-days tours, the driver and the guide will wear a different clothing each day to follow the safety procedures. The used clothes will be kept in a closed bag. Customers will be required to follow the same procedure.
• Social safety distance between customers in the tour will be guaranteed according to recommendations.
• Maximum occupation of the vehicles used in the tours will be guaranteed according to recommendations.
• Avoid all the time to touch your face, especially the eyes, mouth, and nose. Measure your body temperature twice a day and especially before leaving home to join a tour.
• All vehicles used during the activities will be disinfected according to the hygiene rules applicable to each type of transportation.
• Distribution of information to our customers, such as the tour program, will be done preferably online.
• In case of suspected infection, the guide will go with the person to the nearest isolation space and will contact the health authorities.  Storage of waste produced by customers suspected of infection will be made in a plastic bag that, after being closed (eg. with a clamp) will be segregated and sent to a licensed operator for the management of hospital waste with biological risk.
